Sick and Tired
literally and in that order. I made it through all of the holiday stuff and running around and then I get sick when break is over gggrrrrr. Eric is sort of back to work...he is having hard drive issues with his work laptop. He didn't start his car the entire break, so it now has a frozen fuel line and I must cart him around until it warms up. ( Read more... ) -

Frazzled
The one time I have an appointment to get my nails done, is the one time all hell breaks loose. I had to make a whirllwind trip to Chicago on Thursday to go to a funeral for a family member. Said family member died on Monday...we didn't find out until Wednesday afternoon and it was impressed upon us that we should go. I moved heaven and earth ( Read more... ) -
Dish drama
I have a full set of dishes in a rubis pattern from Royal Prestige. It came with our cookware. In the process of things, I have managed to chip two plates, a glass, and shatter a bowl. I sent these items back to get new ones, per the warrenty. No problem. Get a phone call Friday, turns out they have discontinued the rubis pattern in the ( Read more... ) -

Looking at the calendar I see that September just flew by. Our October is filling up rapidly, as is November. I got Alex's christmas outfit at Kids Again today. I have been all over the place lately. Last Thursday alone I started out at home, Gymboree in Webster, lunch in Springfield, IL, dinner and parade in Hillsboro, IL. Got my free Tea at McAlisters last night. Ended up with two because Eric doesn't like tea....will be sipping on tea all day today, (after the pot of coffee is gone!).
