I am currently amused at the weather forecast - sunny and clear in Bristol. But it is misty/foggy with a hard frost and has been snowing on and off all morning! I am off for training this afternoon - I hope it stops snowing then as I really do not want to be stuck at Frenchay ( Read more... )

Has anyone got any good ideas of where to search for jobs? I have lots of places that I look already but there must be more! And others for different types of jobs that I can do but haven't considered because I don't know anything about!

Any ideas?

Well I'm starting to gradually settle into post-PhD work life. I was meant to be buying a horse 2 weeks ago but 2 days before we were goign to have her vetted I received a text from the dealer/owner to say that the horse was no longer for sale. Well it is nine weeks until submission time. Just nine more weeks to keep momentum going to ensure that I submit the very best work that I can. It's going to be very odd once it is finally submitted. The end of an 8 year phase and something that has been a constant through my 20's really. (Started at 21 and I'll finish at 29) Quite insane ( Read more... )
