OK, so work got ugly - no break Tuesday until 6am, then held over until 9:10 am for a lock down. Friday I took my Blazer in for an oil change. Saturday afternoon it started to smell funny and steam seemed to be coming out of one side of the engine, so I skipped church and took it to the shop Monday morning early. OK, I finished the painting for Nick on Tuesday.  I painted 3 bedrooms and a hall in 2 days and one evening of prep work.  I forgot my clamp light last Thursday so things went slowly because I couldn't see all that well.  I remembered it this time so the painting moved right along.  It looks nice if I do say so myself.  Now for 2 nights of work ( Read more... )

I just spent a day and a half painting rooms for my friend Nick.  This is a good deal, he gets the painting done, I earn some extra $$$, but it doesn't leave time for much else during my break days.  Oh well.  Hugs to all my friends and especially to my Urchin.

Well the bedroom, kitchen and bath are clean, the laundry is done, the bills are paid and I'm well rested. Not bad considering I woke up Wednesday at noon with the Mother of All Sinus Headaches.
