so we are headed for warm beach for the next four days, thus: risk, reading, beach, mexican train, cousins, and the like. should be good. the idea of rolling around in the mud sounds really appealing right about now.

Olivia woke up fifteen hours later, famished and stiff, on the forest floor. All she wanted was a garlic melba toast with nutella, but the most crucial thing at the moment was to get herself untied and mobile. She managed to wrench her wrists up toward her face, despite how tightly they were tied together, and began chewing the know apart. The twine with which they were tied was significantly easier to chew through than Luke's arm had been, and she was finished in no more than ten minutes. After that, the leg bindings were easy, and soon she was standing and ready to make her escape ( ... )

Yeah, but the first one, I thought it might be symbolic for a thing or two, but this... pure randomness. wow. So, yeah.

okay i will answer your questions:

i am going to warm beach, one hour north of seattle, and it is not in anyway an island. :) it tends to be cold.

up there are: my great aunt and uncle (i think that's what they are) and my dad, patty, zof, and ingrid. my mom may come up for a day, and my cousins emi and carsten are coming up for a day.

and even though you didn't ask this:
i am reading pour toujours par judy blume. young adult lit in french is fantastic.
