More beer news.
The draught conoscenti have spoken to me again and requested additional clarification. Here it is. I have not, as yet, been to the Green Isle (Eire, Ireland, et cetera). Correspondingly, I have not yet sampled any beer brewed in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast, or any other hamlet or thriving city therein (to the best of my knowledge).

In a follow-up, lest other Irish brews sulk in their heady richness feeling snubbed by my choice of Guinness Stout, I'll simply say that the lovely copper-vermilion Smithwick's Irish ale is, to date, my favorite ale and beer...it unfortunately does not partner as well with an infrequent smoke ( Read more... ) -

Argument time. I'm no beer expert, with wine being the greater of the two for me, but there are those brewskies I take a liking to. Guinness Stout is among them, and while I typically prefer lagers or ales for drinkability, Guinness is the ideal complement to another newfound love, clove cigarettes.
