The year end is always a time for reflection and to contemplate the challenges of the year ahead.

Every year towards the Christmas season, something bad or annoying happens. Most of the time, it is because some appliance in the house would decide to give up the ghost. It gets so predictable that whenever something breaks down in December, both wifey and myself would start singing in unison "It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...." Heh ( Read more... )

So much has happened within the past 1 over week. This month of December is really significant for me; for one, I've gone back to church again after a 5 year hiatus. I left church over a number of reasons... I can't bring myself to worship then at a place which condemns my orientation and yet knowing there's nothing I can do about it. The bible ( Read more... )

I guess I'm probably the last to write on the marathon on Sunday but oh well...

I'm glad I managed to complete my race in under 2 hrs. It wasn't easy especially if age is catching up with you. My admiration goes out to those who completed the full 42km. They did what their minds probably told them a year earlier that they couldn't.

Muz have been umpteen weeks since I last posted anything here. I muz say God has been gracious to me all these months; just a year ago, I could shake legs in the factory cos there's not much biz. Now I have enuff biz to keep me away from the LJ *LOL*

I consider myself quite fortunate to have been to many places around the world. Spring in Japan is romantic; winter in the lake districts, England, conjures scenes of Christmas. Summer in Beijing is... *pengz* Ironically, I've never experienced what it is like to travel in the autumn season.

It would seem like my little factory in JB does attract all kinds of animals into the compound. Let’s see, there was the cat who sashayed into my office on level 2 months ago, the monkey which caused havoc in the packing room, the family of 3 barn owls with the bad case of diarrhea & the cobra which scared away the malay gardener :))
