So, it's really late here and I just finished watching Donnie Darko. That definitely added to the whole surreal experience I was already having here during my final days before departure. Ok, I know the United States isn't perfect. I've shared a lot of my complaints with my friends, but they're mostly government and political stuff. My friend Adam did this hilarious thing when he lost a game of cards. I would be gathering the deck in my hand, ready to shuffle and deal a new game, but he'll hold on to his hand for a little while. Then, he'd throw them on the table and say, "I'm out," with such conviction. It used to make me laugh everytime, as if he refused to finish the game ( Read more... )
