Serenity has a fever

She has been battling this fever since Sunday afternoon when it reached about 102 degrees ferenheit. It has been going up and down the scale from 101 to 103.5, until this morning when it reached 104.5, I called her pediatrician right away and got her in 40 min later. GOod luck. My sympathies - I'm taking my little one in for his first non-routine drs appointment tomorrow because I think he has a urinary tract infection or something. It's so hard watching a child be sick, but even more so when they can't tell you what's wrong, so you have to do your best to play detective and guess what they're feeling. I hope Serenity's fever breaks soon.

By the way, how old is she now? Now that I have a baby of my own, I've been noting your developmental landmarks with interest - gives me an idea what I'm in for down the road. :)

Serenity is 8 mos (on the 10th). I guess I better be more consistant with my updates on her development. Though, as I am sure you know, different children develop at different rates. There is typically a 3-5 mo window of difference. She is about 3 mos behind Julian's development in most things. I am pretty sure that is because he had a full month longer in the womb. He was 2 weeks late and she was 2 weeks early.
In a year, I won't know the difference.
Do you have a facebook account?
I am on there under my real name with my husband's last name attached.
I am in Rob's friends list.
I would love to see pics of your little guy.
How old is he now?
I hope everything goes well at the DR. I'm sorry you are worrying.

The dr couldn't find anything wrong, so we're just waiting it out for now - we'll be back in for a well visit in two weeks, so we'll see how he's doing between now and then. ALthough he seems to be doing a bit better today, so it may have been a classic case of "I have a crush on the nice doctor-lady"-itis on his part. :) He's 8 weeks old - was born St Patrick's day ( ... )
