I went to my family doctor yesterday about the continued pain in my side. She says she thinks it is a hernia. I have a ct scan scheduled for today at 8 AM to find out for sure. I wish they had looked for a hernia in September when I suggested to them that I thought I had one

Good luck! I know how frustrating it can be when something is not right with your body, and the doctors can't figure it out. And the dance of getting your hopes up with each new appointment or proceedure that this will be the time it works, and the crash each time it isn't, and the eventual effort to not get your hopes up because nothing new was figured out the last three times.

I was wondering about hernia, just from the description you gavce of the bulge, but I would have thought someone would have caught that fairly quickly. Hope they figure it out quickly and painlessly.
