Julian has had three games so far. The first two were on the same day, back to back. It was amusing to watch the kids play. Julian is a pretty fast runner and was nearly always the first one to the other end of the court when the ball changed hands. He does not get a chance to practice at home. Julian is doing wonderfully in kindergarten. He has started reading, though he tells me that he is not reading, he "just recognized the word". He is having so much fun! Last night I made soup for Julian, he waited a little bit before he ate and when he stuck his spoon in, he cried out, "Ewwww! Mommy,come and see this! You have to see it, it's gross!" Julian has discovered the hair under his nose and informed us that he thinks he is growing a beard and that it hurts to grow a beard.

Serenity waves hello and goodbye now. and she says, "Hi" and "Bye". She started this on Thursday.
The other day one of our neighbors was visiting and playing with Serenity while I held her. Serenity pushed her had away and waved and said, "Bye." Very matter-of-factly. It is good to know she is assertive.

I cut his hair this morning, dressed him up in the new school outfit we picked out together and took several pictures of him at home, at the bus stop, getting on the bus and then again when he came home ( Read more... )
