I Write the Songs
Yesterday Julian's friend Madeline came for a visit. Her Mom shared that she has been writing a song. Julian listened with great interest about this endeavor. Today, Julian has begun to write his own song. He asked me if I could identify it. I asked him to sing a piece. Growing
Yesterday Julian wanted to learn to spell "octopus", he did not tell us of his goal, he just went into his room and worked on it. He pulled out his journal (so glad we had made on for him!) and a crayon and started working. He sounded out the word and wrote down the letters he heard. Answers
I went to my family doctor yesterday about the continued pain in my side. She says she thinks it is a hernia. I have a ct scan scheduled for today at 8 AM to find out for sure. I wish they had looked for a hernia in September when I suggested to them that I thought I had one ( Read more... ) -
Nursing
I sometimes hear it suggested that when a child is old enough to lift her Mommy's shirt to get her own milk, then she is too old to nurse. At nine months, my baby girl who just today showed me she can lift my shirt, is not too old to nurse.
