Ok so Spike is asking for our help...this can't be good. The last time I saw Spike he was locking Xander and I in a basement and leaving us for dead...ok so yeah he wanted me to do a spell to get Dru back, but apparently he forgot about us and left us there and Oz found us kissing...needless to say when Spike is around no good can come of it

I had actually picked up a book and started reading it.
It wasn't one of those demon books, or researchworthy ones either. It was an Anne Rice. One I had found in my mothers room last time that I had visited. She told me to read it...and for the first time in a few days, I had had the time to.
...and for once it wasn't really that bad, and I wasn't forced to do it. It was for...me? Yeah, there's the answer.
Even though I really did have other things to do, like actual homework....but putting that off was like a simple second nature to me.
I was getting indulged in the book, after 3 pages, I was actually interested when I heard a knock on my door. I closed the book and set it on my dresser. Then I looked up at the door innocently enough. I was way too comfortable to get up. It was a day off, and I was damn well going to treat it as one.
"Yeah?"

"Buffy..its..its Spike." I said rushed. "He is chained in the other basement and says he can't hurt humans and now Julie is protective of him and I think we have a huge problem..." I said all in one breath.
"We need to do something, don't we? I mean we can't leave him there, he can't be trusted can he? I mean Julie seems to, but I mean in reality Spike can't be trusted...though he did help you that once, but...." She finally cut me off as a look of confusion washed over her face.

"What?" She was talking so fast, and it all sounded like jibberish to me right now. If I had things right, Julie was being protective of Spike who was in the other basement...chained up.
"Willow, what do you mean here.. Spike is chained up, I get that, but you left Julie in there alone with him...and she's okay with that?"
I shot up, dropped my book on the bed, and stormed toward the basement.
Nothing like a reminder of Spike to ruin a perfectly good relaxing day. And let's not forget the fact that Julie has it in her head that she needs to stand up for him. Slayers and evil vampires don't mix.
"Is she out of her mind, Willow?" I paused.
"Wait, don't even answer that."

"Buffy, there is more to it...he can't seem to hurt anyone...he tries and it hurts him." I don't know why but on some level I did feel bad for him, but doesn't mean I trusted him.
