at 7:48 a.m. I decided to boil water to make tea, with a hint of honey to keep me awake at work for staying up so late the previous night. I knew I would be slightly late to work seeing as I was running behind schedule. As I transfered the boiling hot water to my thermos the water fell on my hand.
