Points to you for being brave enough to post this fear! Phobias don't have to make sense but when so many people fear mockery, this puts you in the 'brave' column for me. :)
Well, you have me looking suspiciously at our heatign system now... And folks are never really that sympathetic when one reveals one's phobias (I detest otters, but at least they aren't in my home!).

I dont' like that at all. I'm always afraid of getting burned on those kinds of things. Or of falling down the pit of darkness.
But I was scared of stairs when I was a kid. You know, the ones where there's no "back" to the steps? So theoretically you could go right through? Yeah.
I think it all goes back to my vertigo. It's either that or I'm a weirdo. I know i"m a weirdo... but...
Anyway... that sort of thing is scary, especially for a kid. Good luck with your phobia. But a new house so you don't have to deal with the evils of radiators!!! *GRINS*
how interesting! I just read a post -- don't think it was for LJI -- by someone who was afraid of buttons and jewelry, which is about on the same level as being afraid of radiators.
Bizarre, but for what it's worth, I believe you. And I've toed for you as well.
