I was worrying about you all weekend. I'm glad they've got a diagnosis and that things are going a little better.

well there is also the possibility that if I have another attack in say 6 months or so, they will decide it really was my appendix despite 2 CT scans and a colonoscopy.

Our ER does fuck around with lower left side abdominal pain though. As in they did a urine test (that was ruled useless because there was blood in it) and then sent me home, not caring about any other possibilities. We're fairly sure it was an ovarian cyst and that i've had two more since then.

I actually thought of you when the ovarian cyst possiblity came up. Both the CT-scans and the later pelvic ultrasound ruled that out. A good CT scan is supposed to reveal ovarian systs, so I think I would request that if you ever have to go into the ER again.
