It's ok. Laughing about it, when I can, actually helps me cope. "Pulling an AJ" is still a completely acceptable term, especially since I know it is used with fondness and affection! :)

That sucks.

synecdochic has E-D, though I'm not sure what type. I know she falls a lot and dislocates stuff easily, and is on a bunch of meds for pain and stuff. I don't know her personally, but she's really cool and worth following anyway as her journal tends to be pretty interesting.

A few things she's mentioned in the past about it: it's actually better for people to NOT try to catch you as you fall. You learn how to fall without doing much harm to yourself, whereas people grabbing your arm can end up dislocating something. She also said that she prefers to walk barefooted, as this allows her to use her toes to help keep balanced by gripping the carpet or subtly shifting her weight, which you can't always do in shoes (I should know, given how often I sprain my ankle because my shoes don't allow me to correct my balance when I step on something weird, and thus I go right down).

I hope the physical therapy helps!
