I just heard on NPR that the Japanese have decided to kill more whales this year. They have several fast food restaurants that are now serving whale burgers topped with lettuce. I prefer the puppy burgers with the 100% dolphin French frys.

Everything went well with my endoscope on Friday. Fred is dead, or completely healed as the Doc put it. I enjoyed the drugs immensely. We had a bit of an emergency yesterday and thank Goddess it wasn't on my watch! I had just finished watching my ex dog and my ex gf's house last week. Well I survived the race festivities but not without great irritation and justifiable feelings of evolutionary superiority. They were actually walking from as far away as where I was house sitting, so I had to get police assistance to get out of the edition. The night I made an offer on the house, we received a counter within 2 1/2 hours. I offered 19 less than asking, I know that seems really low, but the house has sat empty since last October. Well my family increased by one this weekend. She is adorable with blue eyes and a fat little belly. Our newest member is a black and grey tiger kitten with white socks and a white patch on her chest. It is one of the cutest kittens that I have ever seen.
