I was kinda pissed off at him last night for having to receive his umpteenth "why in the hell did you buy this house?" lecture while we located the source of my laundry leak--a backed up drain. Not the best news.
Dad's blockage is located past a bypass area, making it dangerous to go after it--the bypass artery could collapse, or other bad things. So, medication, which imposes all kinds of limitations on his activity. Feeling kinda anxious today.
Dad's having an angiogram right now to determine where he's got blockage in his arteries. (He's had 2 prior tests to confirm there is blockage somewhere.) Waiting for Mom to call as the cardiologist thinks this is not a bypass procedure but a stent if the blockage is in a larger artery. March is over.
Baby brother got married on March 22nd to his longtime gf in San Francisco, so we took a trip out there. I ran the music for the wedding. o.0 Littlest niece the flower girl was sick at both ends most of the trip but made it through the ceremony. Bratty little Zia.
I attempted at least 5 times to pill Zia this morning. I knew it would be bad because trying to get 2 pills down her last night was really freaking tough, and she knew what to expect this morning. The pill gun is too big for her tiny mouth. She is a dainty little furball with a hell of a lot of hair which made hanging onto her when she went into ( Read more... ) -

Last night I suddenly acquired TWO cats with vomiting and the runs. At least Chiaro is on meds now, but I had to take Zia in this morning for what appears to be the same damn thing. (If Cesare goes, it'll be WWIII of pilling cats at my house. Please God, Chezzie, don't get sick!) She got fluids and an anti-nausea shot, but she is getting ( Read more... ) -

So I sprung for a blood test and subcue fluids for Chiaro (the vet had trouble getting blood because Chi was dehydrated) and...her stats are mostly normal and her white count is normal overall...except that two indicators are flip flopped. Could be an infection or could be lymphoma. They also gave her anti-nausea meds and she's gone 24 hrs ( Read more... ) -
Vet visit today.
Chiaro has been vomiting since 5 AM yesterday morning. She's plenty lively but I don't know how much food she's getting, and she feels lighter to me. I've been up a good chunk of the night coughing so hard I vomit. We're a pair ( Read more... )
