Just so you know, the Evangelicals are breeding "armies" of children. Liberals SERIOUSLY need to catch up. Right now.

I've promised myself that I will never marry someone by whom I am not totally fulfilled-- at least now. And my Ken lacks SO MUCH spiritually, which is the most important thing for me, and so so SO much in terms of political interests and beliefs. I've made it my life's goal to fix a really screwy system, and to try to convince people to change. He thinks that we just have to accept things the way they are, because they're not so bad. We are almost polar opposites on this front, even though he is by no means conservative. I just can't be with a guy forever if he doesn't share my passions, and if he doesn't believe in the things that drive my learning, aspirations, and actions. For Ken, the world could be better but doesn't have to be. For Alex, the world MUST CHANGE. And that is why this relationship won't last.

I love you, angel.

I also put things in perspective for myself this way: Could I bear (so & so's) children?

Answer: I wouldn't want Ken's, if I had a choice.

Like, dream mate. (Not compared to Michael Grotell's; I'd much rather have Ken's, then.)

ENOUGH.
