Thank you for posting this, even if it's hard to find the words right now. My thoughts are with you and the family.
I'll miss Susan's presence here very much. It always brightened my day to see one of her photos, or her descriptions of daily life and the family, and her writing in general. But I'll give her a mental hug whenever I think of them in future.
I'm so very sorry for your loss. Thank you for coming here and letting us know.
Susan was one of the first close friends I made online, twelve years ago, in an email conversation about stories, characters and creativity that quickly started to encompass our larger lives as well (because to Susan, all of those things were interconnected in rich and meaningful ways). She was such a profoundly generous person, a positive and open-hearted friend, and a wonderful writer. Her wise and inspiring perspective has enriched my own in lasting ways, and she was such a support to me when my own father passed away. She was loved, here in her online sphere, and I will miss her terribly, but I count myself so lucky that our paths crossed.
You and all of Susan's family are in my thoughts. I send hugs to you all, and yes, to Susan as well. I remember that post, and her wise and uplifting words.
I am so sorry for your loss -- please accept my condolences to you and your family. I know you will miss her terribly.
She was a wonderful friend for many years, and her real goodness shone through everything she did, in so many ways. A big hug from me to her, and to all of you.
OMG, I am so sorry to hear this. Live journal has gotten less importance as I had less time in the past year. I had no idea anything was wrong and my life will be poorer for her passing. My wife introduced us through her X Files network and I was so pleased to know some echo had a minor passion for cars and a great passion for gardening. And that will be nothing compared to your loss. Blessing to you in a sorrowful time.
