Other peoples cats....voxetteMay 2 2007, 14:59:29 UTC
Cats, unlike dogs, scope people out. I am not saying all dogs are slap happy about humans, but in my experience, mostly they are. I have had many cats in my life, every one a distinct personality. I have 2 cats now, Maggie who pretends to be a crab ass ( and has a crabby face) and Remy, who is a bouncy I-love-the-world cat. We live alone together, and though they are spoiled in many ways, I probably don't give them enough attention.
Whnen someone visits me, a rare occurrance, Remy plays "shy cat" for a while, and crabby old Miss Maggie sluts around the person.....it's amazing to watch, knowing that all "I" get is a chance to back scratch her, with a little controlled petting (when she's in the mood.)For a stranger, she'll purr, splay herself all over, it's disgusting ...and people adore her. She's MY "Aslan." I could wear Remy as a necklace and he'd be happy. His favorite thing in the world is ME, and silly me- I love that

We lost our LeeLee on April 30th. One of our nicknames for him was Asscat. ;-)
