At the very least I'm glad to hear you're okay, but still tremendously concerned for your well being and everyone else over there. The more I watch the news the more the extent of the devastation grows. Please know that you're in my thoughts.
Thanks, it means a lot to know people are thinking about it. I'm only now getting to watch the news and see all the images from the last few days. It's horribly to watch all those towns get washed away under a wall of water.
I felt another aftershock not two minutes ago. I'd like to think the worst of it is over, but it's impossible to know for sure. All I can do it sit around and wait, and hope things don't get worse so they can start getting better.
I'm so glad to hear that you're all right! It's been really horrific and mind-numbing for me to just watch this stuff on the news, so I can't even imagine what it must be like to be there. Stay safe, and I hope the worst will be over soon.
The power was out in my area until this evening, so I only had a vague idea of what was going on yesterday. I knew it was bad, but I didn't know HOW bad until I was finally able to turn on the news and google up some videos.
My biggest concern was getting in touch with people back home to let them know I was safe. Not sure what comes next. All I can do at the moment is wait, and hope the shaking stops. Thanks for commenting, it's nice to know people care.
I was a spazzy worrywart over you yesterday. I looked up Oga on Google maps and was asking people if they thought the quakes and water would have reached it from Miyagi prefecture and what about any radiation leakage and do you think the power would be out? I'm just relieved to see you posting something and I hope this doesn't aversely effect your plans. What an enormous, horrible clusterfuck.
Power was out here until last night, but we missed the rest of it so far. It's kind of scary to be so close to where all those images on the news at happening, but all I can do at the moment is be ready for the worst and wait to see what happens. Hopefully the power plant won't blow up and add giant monsters and supermutants to the mix.
I'm trying! Power finally came back here, so I went to the grocery store to stock up just in case. I'll need all the supplies I can get in case the reactor explodes and unleashes mutants and giant monsters on top of everything else.
