green tea latte is milk based. all the customer is getting is the water and matcha powder. It sounds disgusting, but I can't justify charging her/him for the classic and the milk that goes in a green tea latte when that is not what the customer is ordering.
Oh man I must be getting jaded because that sounds like a situation where I would jump all over the opportunity to give someone a big fat "NO" for an answer. We don't put anything in the Trenta cups except iced tea and iced coffee--Not even ice water.
Yeah I would laugh right in that customer's face if they ordered that.
From the info given on Trenta, there are no exceptions. The Trenta is either IC or IT. Not even Water. The cups are too expensive in terms of buying and having delivered, the space they take up etc. If a customer INSISTS, we are to ring up 2 grande beverages. IF this customer insisted, I'd insist that the Matcha had to be rang in twice. I would do this unless someone explained to me a better way. I would keep seeking advice, just for the sake of ever dealing with such a situation again, knowing how to handle it best.

But I also wouldn't make the drink because I doubt that qualifies as an iced tea, and thus, can't be in a Trenta size.
