Wonderful Weekend
What a great weekend it was indeed. Saturday Fullygoldy and I loaded up the canoe and headed to the Mighty Yaharra River just south of Stoughton for a nice trip down the river. The weather was quite cooperative even though at times there were gusty headwinds. We had a nice adventure through the country side floating without a care down the river. ( Read more... ) -
My Glorious Morning
8:40 am temp 60 pale blue sky with a drift of light clouds. I slid the canoe off the car and onto the grass at Lake Wingra. By the time I had loaded the canoe and parked the car I was on the water at 9:00. The lake was like glass and my little canoe just glided across the water. Golden Barley Brewhouse
The GBBH has produced it's second beer of the season. An English Pale Ale with an American yeast twist,instead of using an Engilsh yeast strain I went with Chico Ale Yeast, Sierra Nevada's yeast, it will produce a dryer effect in this golden yummy hoppiness of love. Back to brewing again YAY ! It has been years since I have broken out the brewing equipment and brewed up a batch of Barleypop. Sun the 15th Busman94 and Emrog came over in the morning and we proceeded to brew up the Octoberfest beer we will serve this year.

Yesterday was such a perfect day for me. I am finally really feeling well, actually fealing better then before I was diagnosed. Loosing the 65# has a lot to do with that I believe, more energy, less uncomfortableness and a bit more agle( can't touch my toes yet though.
