There is a video going around facebook with a three year old reciting this poem. I had never heard it before, but thought it was cool that someone so young could memorize and speak in this manner. im bored bored bored. i started feeling icky again last tuesday. came home from work and went to bed. i was fine for two days and then friday morning - whammo! fever! i stayed in bed for 3 days with a fever close to 102 and watched a lot of pbs ( Read more... )

Transitioning with this season is kind of hard for me.   I think its helpful to emphasize the balance of things that I like/dislike with each season and to realize "this too shall pass" as it is all part of a larger cycle

Things I like about fall:

• (of course) the interesting colors of the leaves
• the desire to make and eat more soup

I am taking some much needed time off today. Unfortunately, I can't help but feel a bit guilty about it. I really shouldn't, as its totally legit. I've worked my butt off this season, putting in an average of 54 hrs a week ( Read more... )
