Yesterday on Twitter I posted a link to an old LJ post (the first time I ever mentioned Twilight, all the way back in 2006 - I disliked it before disliking it was cool!) and I realized how nice/amusing it is to reread old posts. It's like a diary and time capsule and I really want to get back into it! So here's my first post in months.

Apparently the gods do play games with the lives of men, and that game is Badminton.

It definitely felt like badminton, yes! Up and down and lots of getting smacked.

I've never really tried hiking and I'm not entirely sure what it means in this context (walking along a trail through the woods? not camping, maybe bringing lunch? do you use hiking sticks?) but it seems kind of fun. Let me know if you want company sometime! I have a pack to wear Teddy, as long as that would be safe to do (i.e. no climbing up rock cliffs or anything).

Also, hooray for coming back to LJ! It's also much easier to have extended conversations when you're not limited to 140 characters. :-) Although I've also been quite delinquent about updating lately. #BlameTeddy (I vote we steal the hashtag concept from Twitter, it's too amusing & useful not to spread.)

I love blaming things on a tiny baby who lives hours away from me! Somehow it's all his fault!

I guess hiking is basically that, yeah. Sometimes there are rocks to climb, I guess? I'm not sure if I'm making this sound very interesting...

I like trail running and walking in the woods, I'm just used those terms instead of calling it hiking. But I think it's the same/similar? I will like it as long as I'm allowed to talk as we go (this is why you can never take me birding).

I more meant ME blaming things on Teddy, haha. But feel free to "claim" him, I won't tell. :-)

Quick comments, not very well thought out. But: The gorge picture is gorgeous. Ditto with the grandma thing *hug*. And "sweet" Loki?
