Have not posted in way too long. Got asked to help plan a feast/tavern night so thought I would put together a record of those I have done. Eventually I want to put this on a webpage with links to menus and recipes.

End of Summer
According to my Doctor, I am now officially old.
I have been married for 30 years (to the same man ;-)
I voted!
I finally cut off the ponytail, hair is now just shoulder length. Has not been that short for 20 years.
Tomorrow I am going to Vegas, 6 nights of Sin City. Himself will be there for 3....
That is all. -
Dad finally wrote his will
A bit over 3 years ago my Dad's doctors told him he had 2 years to live. His response was, "Screw that I have too much to do. I am going for 10." He is just stubborn enough to do just that. No Banner War for us
Andrew and I decided not to go to Banner War. Lots of reasons, but the most important one was: when I made the decision not to go, I felt more relief than regret. -
First spam
For some reason I thought this did not happen here, I got my first Spam on LJ. I followed the instructions how to deal with it. If you see anything really wierd supposedly from me, its not me!

Balance
Breakfast: biscuits and gravy - pork and turkey sausages fried in bacon fat, gravy made with 1/2 and 1/2, eggs fried in butter on the side. Coffee with cream.
Dinner: Veggies from our CSA-Grilled squash and yellow potatoes, peas and carrots, cabbage salad. See, it all balances out! -
