1. I avoid singing verses with curse words in front of children. They tend to imitate them. 2. I have no recollection of when I learned my first one or what it was, but I was probably 14 or 15. 3. Do you mean mixed SCAdian and non-SCAdian? Seriously, I don't care if the company is mixed, I judge based on each individuals threshold as I guess it. 4. No song I've ever heard is too dirty to be sung in front of me.
1. That's hard. I try to be good around other peoples children but I won't police myself. That's what their parents are for and if they choose to drop their kid and run. Well that's their problem.
2. I think I was 10 3. I think I didn't have that qualm installed in me. hmm 4. No. There are songs I hate and I will stare off into space and attempt not to listen. I'm not offended by them. I just hate them.
1. Anything that uses explicit words. "My thing is my own" in my opinion, is ok. Most kids don't pay much attention to lyrics.
2. That I can remember? My first Pennsic. :)
3. No song is too dirty to be sung in mixed company.
4. No.. but that doesn't mean I won't get grossed out. There's a difference between dirty and gross songs. I will leave a fire if someone starts singing Barnacle Bill. Gross.
1. umm I dont know, Moose maybe? 2. 4th or 5th grade but I think it was dittys(sp) 3. I think it depends on the company and the song, more so the company - using Moose as an example, it probally shouldnt be sung at church. 4. Nope not as far as I know. I am not as musically inclined as I would like to be and never remember lyrics, so even if I get shocked I wont recall how it went the next day.

2. I think I heard a dirty version of Miss Mary Mack back when I was 10-12.
3. John Valby songs. ;-)
4.Not yet. I may blush if they are sung in front of me if there are others around observing my reaction, but one on one is fine.
This would be a great question for the ask_me_anything community.
