Yep, I'd attend.

I've heard that a bunch of East Coast cons let you do game pre-reg so that you know what you got into before you arrive, making things incredibly orderly (and upping the pre-reg early benefits). This is rather seductive for me as a LARPer because I could pack so much better rather than packing for every freaking contingency. Sure, there's downsides, but I'd be tempted to learn what those are.
