She talks a lot about how to quiet the nerves. Mainly what she suggests is when you're getting incredibly nervous, sit back and think how important that race really is in your life in the grand scheme of things. Usually you can get it back to like 5 or 6 (for a really big one I imagine) if not further. Things like family, friends, etc. And I really do think it helps
