Lindseys mum passed away peacefully on Tuesday morning at 4am, Lindsey was with her at the end. She had been diagnosed with cancer in January and unfortunately it was untreatable. She is out of pain and at peace in a better place now ( Read more... )

Well what a great night that was. Considering we did not get to see a competitive game of ice hockey as Basingstoke Bisons' team bus decided to blow up on the motorway. Isn't it amazing how we take some things in life for granted, we see them as a right rather than the privilege they are. We have a busy week next week. Lindseys mum is at hospital on Monday for the results of her CT scan and further tests, Lindsey understandably wants to be with her mum for this as her stepdad is neither use nor ornament. Ben also has a hospital appointment on Monday for his 6 monthly checkup and his IQ/DQ tests, my mum is coming to keep us both ( Read more... )

I finally found out how to get the xbox streaming media from our pc. After trying various settings and downloading media services/players that claimed to do the job I came across a forum where somebody had explained that there were settings in 'services'(under control panel) that were defaulted to 'off' but needed switching on along with the media ( Read more... )
