Completed in 1951, the thin-shell concrete roof spans 204 feet and is 3 inches thick. Architects were Edgarton & Edgarton; structural engineers were Ammann & Whitney. From ground level you can only get occasional glimpses of the barrel vault roof, so we found a parking garage to get a better view.
