I like their music quite a bit, and it sounds unique, atleast for Lakeland. I think they represent the direction that Lakeland's musical scene is moving towards very well.

I can't think of anything bad, other than I have heard they are dicks, but the 2 or so members I have met were real nice guys.

musically, they're fine. they all seem to be adequate musicians. there isn't really a musical "weak link" in their group, aside from vocals. the vocals i've heard haven't been particularly bad, but sometimes they just aren't well suited to the song. in a band like mbotw, where texture is so important - you really want the vocals to serve as another instrument rather than as the focal point of the piece. that being said, melodies are still necessary and i've noticed that their vocal pieces don't really have much melody. it's usually little more than a single, repeated note with a few variations

(i.e. going from really really soft to really really loud). that's a simple and cool trick, but it gets old quick when used in every song.
