man, i'm still rationalizing. $770 for a silk on silk 2 1/2 x 4 ft 1000+ knot count kashmiri rug. it is so beautifully done and amazingly soft, but tossing $800 like that is always a bit tough, especially since i'm still not completely sure what i will do with it. hang it up on my wall? put it in a low-traffic area, e.g., under my coffee table ( Read more... )

trust me - i've been looking but have seen nothing quite like what you are looking for.

the rug was calling to me the same way that $950 japanese painting was way back when in the wtc/wfc bridge market
