dude i didn't grow up in this country either but i remember the parkay commercial...they were still playing it up till a couple of years, i believe...maybe mich just doesn't watch enough TV? :P

so the other day, i am telling cooper how before electricity, children had to do their homework by candlelight, and then they went to bed because they had no televisions or gameboys or playstations, and the stinker asks me, "so - was there electricity when YOU were little?"

It -is- supposed to stick in your head :) Once upon a time, they did try to make National Day songs catchy and easy to sing (esp since most of the 'singers' were primary school kids!).
