do you ever read someone's journal/comment, think to yourself "could you be more stupid?", and then proceed to not post anything owing to the need for tact?

methinks LJ needs a new functionality where you can anonymously award idiot points to people.

all the time.

.. and i sure hope you weren't talking about me.

(as for functionality, i think you should make an icon of you holding an index finger and thumb "L" to your forehead. when you find such a post, use that icon .. and say nothing)

God, yes.

And I agree with Jes' idea too. I'll help you make that icon if you want... *grin*

LOL! I hope this isn't for me. ;)

It happens, but I usually do speak up. Probably because I'm incredibly tactless, aggressive and I enjoy a good heated debate.

I kinda figured since you've said quite a bit. ;)

Just wanted to let you know that I do respect you, despite our (heated) disagreements. I respect the way you stand up for what you believe it, the fact that you actually believe in something, even your misguided love of America (JK!). I tend to get quite aggressive in debates, and forget that even though it's not personal for me, it can feel otherwise for the other party. So I wanted to make things clear - not many people are used to me. :P

I once played a drinking game where in addition to the game itself we had 'tard' points, so if anyone was acting like a retard they had to drink as well. I rarely drank on account of doing badly in the game. I often drank on account of being a tard.

you should go for it. we all need people telling us we're stupid every now and then. it's good for the soul.
