Sorry. I'm not convinced that she's even remotely competent. This sounds like a meeting where a guy just tosses out buzzword after buzzword but never actually says anything.

IMO, Bush knows the issues, but he's not very articulate and he's too stubborn to come up with the right solutions. Palin doesn't know the issues at all, and that's what comes across for me here.

watching this, i was embarrassed for her. the part where couric tries to clarify on who, banks or consumers, should be held responsible, was the clincher for me. the woman seems to not have ANY background on economics AT ALL. (and this is coming from the noobest of econ noobs.)
