that sucks bebop. The people at the shop are nice even though every time I bring the car in they always find something new that they would like me to save for and fix later. They have been good at telling me what needs to be worked on NOW and what can wait a little bit.

Absolutely! I feel fortunate that I had one to tap for these expenses, so they didn't derail the rest of my budget too badly.

Eh. It will probably be a couple of months, really.... Boo-hiss, but worse things have happened to me.
