Blacklist remedies

On behalf of a friend, Somehow my IP has gotten on a lot of blacklists and I have no idea how to get off. Can you offer any advice?
Anyone been in a similar boat? Whiterose? Other folks who've been domain hosts to their friends? It's an issue that I've never had to face, myself, so I'm at a loss as to suggestions to provide.

well it can work in different ways. first a couple of questions. does your friend have a static ip? if so then there is a reason it has been blacklisted. they need to check security on their server and make sure they were not hacked.

if it is dynamic, well force a change in IP then. but it could be a range that is blacklisted. also check this out, http://www.wilsonweb.com/email/blacklist-removal.htm has some links to help.
