 Recently there was some talk on Facebook between jellyjenn , myself and Miss N about blogging our kitchen creations. The two of them do a lot of baking.  In fact, recently jellyjenn made a birthday cake for my step mother called Orange Cardamom Cake.  This isn't the recipe she used, but it's close, I'm sure.   She dressed it with a delicious nut-butter cream

I just might have to try that cake because I love, love, love, orange AND cardamom!

JJ used a recipe from a vegetarian or vegan cookbook - I think by The Green Door or The Table, but I can't recall which. It uses blood oranges. Squeezing the juice her hands turned red. :)

She also used her KitchenAid mixer.

We loved it! And with the icing she made it was fabulous.
