I read a series of "trashy" (well... I like to call them summer beach reads) vampire books in July and August... because I became obsessed with the tv show from which they were based.
Hm, did it happen to be the Sookie Stackhouse series? If not, what are you reading? I have really gotten into vampires lately for a few reasons. 1. the literary transformation of them from scary demons of the night to the lovable misunderstood hero is fascinating. 2. I cannot legally analysis anything in the story line, which is a major blessing.
Ack, flu! But at least you have Hulu and probably Anne Rice. If you run across anything particularly entertaining, you can always share it with us!
I'd really like to see you before you move away! Katie, Jen, and Geordie and I are planning for a small Halloween party for the ol' roomies. It'll probably be on Halloween night or the day before, or something, and should include costumes and Yami No Matsuei for bad anime entertainment. I'd love to see you there. So far all our costumes involve large dresses, except Geordie's, but he hasn't picked anything yet.
Also, YAY! I HAS JOB. I'll be working at Ringling, probably with Katie sometimes. ^^ I wish you the best of luck finding just the right job, even if it takes a little longer. Please also try to keep in touch after you move. Like I said to Katie earlier, I know I don't really talk to you guys that often, but you still feel like family to me.
Ah, I didn't fall as far as Anne Rice (will have to do that later). I have been reading the series that True Blood is based off of, and I am enjoying the second book so much more than the first.
Halloween party sounds awesome. Keep me in the loop. I don't think I have anything planned for that weekend, but my schedule has had to be a little fluid to allow for changes based on classes, court, and the inn of courts.
I am so excited you has a job. That has to be nice to have the positive cash flow into the bank account once again.
