I guess I took a month off. I didn't mean to, but that's what I did. I am now typing on my "new" laptop. My wife and I have swapped computers. I re-imaged both today and I'm happy with the result. I am, as usual, worried about my kid. Lately, I've been worried what to do if he believes in something that I don't. Not... Not really religion. If he finds religion, then that's fine by me. I know I just finished talking about Yom Kippur, but there was something that happened during the services for Yom Kippur and Rosh Hashanah that bothered me. It was chanting. My son has finally reached that age where he'll really just play on his own for a while. It's fantastic. The other day I was able to say, "Please go play while I make dinner," and he did! I question my fathering ability often, but one of my biggest fears is that I'm inadvertently programming my child for failure. I'm always worried that some little side comment with be taken to heart and negatively affect him. For example, my kid is currently teething.
