Almost sample time
Almost finished the pattern for the Sunrise Hoodie. I'm just finishing the hood, adding darts and seam allowance. If all goes well I hope to be able to take the pattern to Kinko's to have it and the new children's hoods (Monogram Hoodie) printed this week. (Hopefully tomorrow.) (I'm helping my neighbour make new cloths for the deities at their temple. A fun challenge I think.)

surfing
We went to a "offsite" with Gary's team in Santa Cruz yesterday. One of the things we did was surf lessons and since there was room (they had to have a min number of students) I got to go surfing! If I'm going to be in California I may as well lean to surf ( Read more... ) -

I'm now in California.
We have a place, we got our stuff yesterday and now our place is a disaster zone. (relocation company packs everything and unpacks it. I had to uncover the bed before we could sleep in it last night. Lots of sorting to do.) Trying to get settled in. My mom came with me but went home on Tuesday so I'm on my own again. -

1. What made you know that Gary was "the one"?
Not sure exactly what it was, but I did know. Gut feeling I guess. Though having him "steal" (he didn't ask first) his mom's car to come and see me for all of 15 min. on a weeknight was a pretty good indicator too.
