I have to pose a question to my fellow livejournal users.

Why do hot dogs come in packages of 10 and hot dog buns come in packages of 8?

I say it is because of the man with his finger on the button. Any other thoughts?

Because it's obviously a collusion between the bread and meat companies. You have to spend more on an additional thing of bread, and then you have too much bread so you buy more hotdogs! So eventually, one must buy 8 packages of hotdogs and 10 of buns. Truly evil indeed.
