I'm finally closing on the sale of the house Friday!  Sigh of relief.  It's been a long time coming.

Just thought  I'd let you know what you're missing over on Facebook--a whole group dedicated to your "new and improved" Mr. Claus!  There's videos, pictures, discussions, etc.  So not only are you missing out on what your friends are doing, you're missing out on hot Claus!  Just sayin'.

I got up at 6 am this morning in order to have coffee with a lifelong friend at 8 am.  He and I went from K-12 together and he was the best "guy" friend I had for several of those years.  After college he went on to become an ordained minister and actually performed my wedding ceremony six years ago.  I don't think I've seen him since then.  It was ( Read more... )

 I went back to work today.  Finally got home around 2:30 am on Monday, so I spent yesterday sleeping, unpacking, & doing laundry.  Larteek kept the house really nice and the dogs were great for him, Praise God!  I'm worried about Bubby though; he seems to have lost a lot of weight and I feel sure it was from worry.  I don't know what I'll do when ( Read more... )

I didn't write on Thursday or Friday.  Thursday we spent 6 hours on a bus traveling from Siem Reap back to Phnom Penh.  Once we got back we had a little bit of downtime to spend in our rooms and then we went to a jewelry store.  The owners are friends of Foursquare so it is safe to buy fine ( Read more... )

We went to the co-op yesterday--it was very interesting.  They grow the plants, produce the worms, make the thread, and create beautiful silk garments.  They told us they have about 50 women working there right now.  The prices seemed high for Cambodia, but once we saw the process and learned that it takes four days to weave one scarf, it didn't ( Read more... )
