Thats a pretty big life-changing step you're readying to take, Bay. I won't dare sit here and try to lecture you on it or make sure you've weighed all the angles - seems to me you're ready for this.
Its a brave thing for you to come out and admit up to this, but it speaks alot about you're character and just the type of father you'd become. Don't hide what you feel from the world. Embrace them. Show this world just how good of a father you can be.
And just remember: "Those that matter won't care. Those that care don't matter."
Then your better off then most other gay couples seeking to adopt. That is honestly the only barrier. So long as you feel you can commit yourself to raising a child, more power to you.
I know how you feel completely Bayson. I too would like children of my own someday and yet I can't overcome the feeling of having one that is from my own blood lines due to sexuality reasons.
If you do continue this pathway, I hope it truly works out for you in the long run *hugs* best of luck Bayson.
That's a big, big step. I have home and hearth instincts and hope to someday have a kid. Not sure if that's going to happen anytime soon Painless isn't much into the idea of having children. But I say go for it, all the luck in the world :)
