This morning I received the news that my good friend Matthew Smith, known to us in London as "Smithers" has died in a road accident. He was a brilliantly high callibred man and as many have mentioned had a library of knowledge on various topics that he was really passionate about. He often spoke about his role playing games and nuclear power when I accompanied him on train journeys to London and was a pleasure being around him. As my colleague has said, we shall miss him a lot at lunch and the spare seat shall always remind us of him.
It is a very sad and upsetting moment that such a person has been lost at such a young age when he had the potential to make a change in the world we live in.
Rest In Peace Matthew and you shall be forever remembered!
