I am spellbound by this - I love the very masculine world portrayed in your story with the (at the moment just the promise of something more intimate to come between them) - like BBM itself.

It would be great if indeed Jacobus were NOT the son of that bastard ! How can he talk like this about his son ? Even if e doesn't love him, at least out of pride he could keep his mouth shot and not trash his own kin !! What a difference n=between him and the Commander's behavior towards Innis !...I hope they wont tell Jacobus anything about this scene, on the contrary, I hope it will make Innis get to the conclusion he's better with his century than home with that scumbag !!
Thank you so much, I'm ready for next chapter !! ;o)

just a great job. interesting that the commander might be jacobus' father. and that he is the foster father of yannis. therer is just a hint that something will flare between yannis and jacobius. that will undoubtedly be a dangerous relationship for the two of them. ande i'm interested that the men of the unit should go to the commander. or maybe just speak in the commander's presence of what they see as unusually harsh treatment of jacobius.

aqll around interesting. so glad to see an update, i just love period pieces.
