OMG! This was such a good chapter! You two are on fire! I loved, loved, loved this...

"He lay down beside him, close enough that he could feel his warmth, not caring if the fort was attacked that night. "

*happy sigh* I also loved Yannis and the Commander together, I'm so happy that he has someone who loves him and he can talk to. And he might be Jacobus's father?? Hmmm, very interesting!
Thanks so much for the wonderful update!!

That was sweet, wasn't it:) I love the little sweet touches bb4eva adds here and there so we don't get too bogged down in training and whatnot. Hopefully Jacobus will get into sweet mode at some point:) Once he gets rid of his mad.

I loved every word said by Innis and the Commander and I was so happy that the guys talked a bit. The gard duty was a great idea.

I love this story so much, I can see it as a movie because I've seen so many Roman movies!!

It's beautiful, thank you very much for writing it and with frequent updates :)

My tighest hug

Just love it how you convey so much with saying so little about what they think about the other. Very fitting with roman characterisation. I also like it how acceptive Y/E is of the ways of life, be it Roman or barbarian. Or his own.
Thank you for sharing this great story.
