My hair has been a tangled mess the last couple of weeks, so I just cut it. It doesn't look any better, but hey - less tangled.

I've been dying my hair every 7-8 weeks since I was 25. So none of my grey hairs are caused by fandom - or kids! I still blame them all on law school and the bar exam.

Do you think it's a lot of work?

Depends on your definition of a lot. I blow it dry every morning, but "styling" takes approximately 60 seconds. (See my response below re: having no styling talent.)

I haven't cut my hair since college; it's now almost to the point that I could sit on it if I didn't pull it back all the time. It's naturally curly, so when it's wet, it really is just about at the "being able to sit on it" stage.

I like my hair, even when I whinge about it.

Of course, I cover it for religious purposes when I leave my house, so most people I encounter have never actually seen my hair.
